Strong local home sales market reflects national trend
LONGMONT — Experts say the Longmont-area real estate market is now officially back to pre-Great Recession levels, reflecting a national housing market that has been steadily getting better quarter after quarter.
The number of single-family homes sold through the second quarter of this year was not only up more than 21 percent in Longmont compared with the same period last year, but it’s the highest number since the first half of 2008.
